Vice Department Director of C.C., WPK Kim Yo Jong Clarifies Stand through KCNA

Kim Yo Jong, North Korea's vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party, criticized the US and South Korea's "Washington Declaration" and Yoon Suk Yeol's visit to Washington, calling it a product of their extreme anti-DPRK hostile policy. She expressed concern over the increased deployment of US nuclear strategic assets in the region and emphasized the need for further strengthening the nuclear war deterrent. Kim Yo Jong also warned that North Korea's exercise of its right to self-defense will become stronger in direct proportion to the US and South Korea's military activities in the region.
